Meet Ryan, our Practice Manager at Alrewas Surgery

Hello! I’m Ryan Hampson-Miller, and I’m proud to be the Practice Manager here at Alrewas Surgery.
I joined the practice in mid 2024, and since then it’s been an incredible journey working alongside our dedicated team to make sure our patients receive the very best care and experience every day.

My background is in primary care leadership, quality improvement, and digital transformation, and I’ve spent several years helping GP surgeries modernise the way they work from improving access and patient communication to supporting staff wellbeing and streamlining systems behind the scenes.

At Alrewas I’m passionate about making the practice more efficient, accessible, and patient friendly, while maintaining that warm, village surgery feel that makes our team and community so special. Whether it’s refining how our appointments work, supporting staff development, or listening to patient feedback through our surveys and Patient Participation Group, I truly believe small changes can make a big difference.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my partner Luke and our five dogs; Mabel, Luna, Lola, Marshall, and Aspen, who keep life very lively! I’m also interested in design and technology, and I often bring these interests into projects that help modernise how GP surgeries connect with their patients.

I’m always keen to hear from our patients and local community, whether it’s feedback, ideas, or just a friendly hello when you visit the surgery.
